Continuing Education, Health Sciences had its origin in the School of Continuing Education as the Department of Health and Women's Studies in 1975. It is one of five Academic Schools in a Community College located in south western Ontario.
Approximately 8,000 health professionals, paraprofessionals and individuals interested in learning about health, register every year in quality courses employing a variety of learning styles.
You will find courses in nursing, medical laboratory technology and technician, medical imaging, pharmacy, and many more. Our well qualified team develops, manages and offers courses and is looking forward to helping you meet your learning goals. MEDICAL CLEARANCE is required for all clinical/field placement courses and courses with a clinical component.

This form must be submitted to the HEALTH SERVICES OFFICE, IAHS - ROOM 303 accompanied by a one-time processing fee. Cheques should be made payable to “Mohawk College Health Services” with your student ID number clearly visible on the front of the cheque. Cash will be accepted if dropped off in person to Room 303.
You may qualify for credit for skills and knowledge you may have acquired in other courses or in your work experience. If interested in pursuing credit for prior learning, please contact the Prior Learning Assessment office.
