Computer software has significantly changed accounting practice. This program is designed to broaden the skills of office employees needing a basic understanding of computerized accounting. Several courses are offered in the distance education format, providing the opportunity to combine traditional classroom learning with self-paced study.
Upon entering the program, if you do not have an adequate level of computer literacy, you are strongly urged to complete INFOBW001, Workshop for Windows, before beginning any hands-on course. For hands-on AccPac and simply Accounting courses, it is recommended that you be familiar with basic accounting concepts.
