Dressmaking

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Professional fit and appearance are the hallmarks of dressmaking skill. The focus will be on basic sewing skills and dressmaking principles to enable you to achieve a professional standard, develop expertise with different fabrics and textures and construct garments with creative expression. Each course skillfully combines technique and ‘hands-on’ practice. Completion of samples for future reference will be emphasized.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

O.S.S.D., Mature Student Status or equivalent. Secondary school English or equivalent.
