Equivalent to the dayschool program. This program is designed to prepare students to work in municipal or private institutions offering educational care for preschool children. The program meets the certification requirements of the Association for Early Childhood Education.

Potential students must apply through the Spring Continuing Education Catalogue each year with an application deadline in June. The program begins in the Fall for successful applicants. Applicants require Grade 12 (or equivalent) including English, or mature student status with admission tests. Applicants must complete a program questionnaire and participate in a visit to a preschool setting.
