Start date: September - 30 weeks | Highlights - Experience the field of packaging involving processes, maintenance and techniques
- Learn the many tools and techniques which are effective in areas of machinery components particular to the packaging and material handling environment
- Gain an understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of packaging machinery operations and equipment
- Understand the necessity of teamwork, consideration of others as well as technical competence
- Experience field trips to industries in the community to show installations and applications, processes and techniques in an expanding industry
- Complete Basic Level apprenticeship curriculum for Industry Mechanic to qualify for the challenge exam
