The Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping is the national certification body for professional Bookkeepers. C.I.B.'s objective is to establish educational, professional and ethical standards in the bookkeeping profession.
The C.I.B. is dedicated to preparing individuals for greater financial and job security as a Certified Bookkeeper. Three years practical experience is required before qualifying for certification. Program graduates will be governed by a Code of Ethics which sets out professional responsibilities and conduct.

The following course is a recommended prerequisite: INFO10053 - Computer Basics with Windows Word and Excel.
