Last holiday season, Highview asked Mohawk Advertising program coordinator Wayne Aubert to support a toy drive for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Students and staff donated 100 stuffed toys. This year, Highview asked Mohawk’s Advertising program to support a good cause that was close to home.
“It’s a win-win for everybody,” says Aubert. “Our students in Mohawk’s Advertising program are known for their charitable work. They’ve been heavily involved in the Robert Land Community Centre this year, have made donations to the United Way and McMaster Children’s Hospital, and they never hesitate to help when asked to pitch in.”
