CIM, a federally and provincially chartered association established in 1942, is committed to leadership in promoting management professionalism, efficiency, effectiveness and excellence in individuals and organizations.
Fees include: CIM membership, dinner meetings, networking and a subscription to the Canadian Manager Magazine. Send applications and fees directly to the Hamilton Branch Office. Fees must be received before the first class. You are not considered registered until fees are paid.
All candidates must meet certain criteria. Students with credits in equivalent post secondary studies can apply for exemptions from CIM courses. Please contact the CIM Office for details.
CIM Information Night will be held at the Fennell Campus of Mohawk College on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Room F118.
Two Certificates are available:
Certificate in Supervisory Management (CSM):
CSM offers four areas of study for individuals beginning their careers or those who wish to qualify for their first supervisory role. Courses can be used as credit in the eight subject certificate study program leading to the professional designation (C.I.M.) Certified in Management.
Certificate and Designation in Management and Administration (C.I.M.):
Exposes you to the major areas of managerial responsibility and enhances management skills of current supervisors and managers. Candidates require two years of management/administration experience prior to applying for the C.I.M. designation. You must also apply within six years of completing the prescribed studies.
