Dr. Rocco Di Giovanni
Rocco has over twenty years experience as a performance improvement consultant, educator and practitioner. He provides strategic consulting, education and training, and performance improvement tools for personal, team and organizational transformation. Linking the individual to organizational performance, he makes visible the three levels of performance: the individual performer, process, and organization.
Rocco has facilitated the analysis, design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of organization performance improvement strategies, which were linked to business plans, objectives and goals and driven by customers and competitive advantage factors. His clients include the manufacturing, service, food, chemical, education, and sales sectors. He has served as a strategic coach to companies in the areas of Strategic Planning, Process Management, Team Building, Human Resource Planning, Recruiting, Selection, Facilitation Skills, Creative Problem Solving, Measurement and Feedback, Education and Communication, and Reward and Recognition Systems.
Rocco has a B. Comm. (Honours) from McMaster University; a Master’s of Education degree from Brock University; and a Doctorate degree in Education, focused on collaborative group decision making from the University of Toronto. His research interests include collaborative decision making processes, technology transition and community building, for which he recently received research grants from Ontario Innovation Trust ($112,345) and Bell Canada ($21,000).
Additionally, he holds a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and continues to teach courses in Organizational Behaviour, Managing Organizational Change, Human Resource Management, Recruitment and Selection, and Human Relations at Mohawk College.
