issues such as terrorism, violence, gang warfare, forensics, Internet

civil justice agencies and services
- Research, organize, evaluate, synthesize and analyze evidence and statistical data based on investigation
- Apply ethical, accountable and effective professional practices to individuals and groups from a variety of diverse backgrounds
- Practice
risk management principles to minimize civil liabilities by knowing the
current legal responsibilities of law enforcement including arrest and
use of force
- Develop effective problem-solving skills with
respect to critical incident management in law enforcement,
particularly in evidence gathering and arrest
- Enhance computer, communication, team-building and relationship skills
