Mohawk's Leah Waxman Takes Weekly OCAA Honour
Mohawk's Leah Waxman has been named the Women's Athlete of the Week by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association. The 5'6" right side player was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Killer Instinct Cup women's volleyball tournament, won by her Mountaineers at Durham College in Oshawa January 4-5.
The native of Port Dover has been a dominant force in this, her third year of college volleyball.
