This self-paced program provides students with welding skills and theoretical knowledge to successfully meet Canadian Welding Bureau standards. Exposure to a wide variety of applications, positions and materials used in diverse industrial fields is provided.
Students have the ability to design their own curriculum specific to their needs. Training is broad-based and will meet the needs of both those with no experience in welding and, those who wish to enhance specific skills.
Welding skills will be assessed prior to entrance in the course and a plan developed outlining the welding process that will be taught to the student and the length of time the student can expect to complete the plan.
Mohawk College conducts Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) and TSSA testing on-site. Students may book tests for CWB and TSSA certification at any time for any position. CWB and TSSA testing costs are in addition to tuition costs.
