Mohawk Management Decision Centre Facilitating & Supporting Collaborative Work, Learning & Innovation with Technology
Questions Answered

Q. Why would I hold my meetings in The Mohawk Management Decision Centre?
A. Clients utilizing our electronic meeting facility have reported a time-savings of between 50 and 90 percent which, ultimately results in cost savings for your business or organization. Trained facilitators keep members focused on the meeting and because participants are inputting their ideas via the computer, digressions are avoided, dominant personality styles do take presedence, and quiet personality styles are engaged; thus, encouraging equal and candid contributions from all participants.  The anonymity of the facility gives all contributors a voice without fear of retrobution.  Your meeting becomes a truly collaborative effort.

Q. Do I get a report at the end of the meeting?
A. All details of the meeting are documented using the specialized software. A final report can be made available if requested.

MMDC

Q. How many people can meet in the MMDC?
A. The lab is fully equipped with 29 participant stations along with three large screen projection units. If required, your group can access our non-technology breakout rooms.

If you can't come to us, we can come to you with our Portable Management Decision Centre.  The portable lab enables us to bring our facilitators to you using the same Groupware Support Systems [GSS] meeting technology. We can  accommodate up to 14 participants in your preferred meeting location.

Q. Do I require a facilitator?
A. Experienced facilitators (skilled both in traditional and electronic facilitation) will ensure your group meeting is an outstanding success. The structure and nature of the facilitator involvement depends on the needs and requirements of your organization and the task at hand. A consultation will determine the most effective approach for your group.

Q. Is computer literacy required?
A. Computer literacy is not required. The computer input is secondary to the problem-solving steps.
