Support Statements for Biotechnology
"Mohawk College's Biotechnology Programs are provided as a response to the growing needs of the Biotechnology Industry. Ontario's Clusters of Biotechnology include the Western GTA Consortia, The Golden Horseshoe Bio-Innovation Consortium, and the London Cluster Consortium. The City of Hamilton has also identified Biotechnology as an innovation cluster.
Courses in Mohawk's Biotechnology Technician Program are being developed in collaboration with McMaster University and industry partners. The Biotechnology Technician Program at Mohawk College will provide applied research opportunities for our staff, students, graduates and employers."
