The Practical Nursing program is designed to develop the knowledge and skill of the learner to the level of competency of a beginning practical nurse practitioner in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is eligible to write the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination conducted by the College of Nurses of Ontario to become a Registered Practical Nurse.
